TREASURER

The Treasurer shall be responsible for and assure that the accounts of the Association are kept in an accurate and true manner. 

He/she shall be responsible for the oversight of the financial responsibilities of the Association.

He/she shall submit a treasurer’s report at each meeting and shall report to each annual Business meeting on the fiscal business of the Association for the prior year.

He/she shall work with the Association Secretary and ensure the annual reports and other reports required to maintain incorporation status and tax exempt status are filed in accordance with rules and regulations governing same.  The funds of the Association shall be subject to withdrawal upon his/her signature or upon the signature of any other authorized officer of the Association.  The Treasurer’s accounts and annual report may be subject to an annual audit.  The designated bank and/or accounting services for the Association are subject to approval by the Board.

The Treasurer shall be a signatory on the Association bank account(s) and will maintain possession of one of the Association debit and/or credit cards.


REGIONAL DIRECTOR

It shall be the primary duty of the Regional Directors to further the purposes and objectives of the Association in his/her region.

In this regard, each Regional Director shall:

  • Maintain contact with pretrial programs in the regional area;
    • Serve as a liaison between the membership and the Board of the Association;
    • Assist membership in furthering the growth and development of the Association standards and goals;
    • Assist membership in securing assistance as needed;
    • Assist with the further growth and development of the profession by initiating and developing new programs; and
    • Work directly with members within their region and provide regular updates to the Board regarding regional activity.
