Powers and Duties of the Treasurer:
The Treasurer is a key officer responsibility for the financial integrity and fiscal oversight of the APPF. Primary duties include:
– Maintain accurate and transparent financial records for the Association.
– Oversee all financial activities and responsibilities.
– Provide regular financial reports at meetings and an annual fiscal report.
– Ensure timely filing of required incorporation and tax-exempt status reports with the Secretary.
– Serve as a signatory on bank accounts and manage Association debit/credit cards.
– Authorize withdrawals of Association funds alongside other authorized officers.
– Facilitate annual audits of financial accounts and reports.
– Coordinate Board approval for banking and accounting services.
